I do a little more than just keys and playback. I’m also proficient on drums, bass, and acoustic guitar! No matter the application, my back pocket is ready.
Capable of locking into the groove of nearly any musical style, from rock and pop to funk and blues, and everything in between. I’ve put a large portion of my time and focus into developing a strong sense or feeling of “the pulse”… in other words, I have made an attempt to be the click, to ensure absolute “tightness”. While I may shy away from the complexities of jazz clubs, my ability to drive the beat across a broad spectrum of music makes me an option to rattle ear drums near you!
I bring a vibrant and nuanced approach to the bass guitar, capable of stepping beyond playing the root on beat one. A significant portion of my practice has been devoted to understanding different techniques, allowing me to develop a sound appropriate to the music. While I don’t consider myself a career bassist, my playing is above amateur, offering a foundation for most genres. Having versatility on the bass has given me another great opportunity to join other musicians.
I am not a guitarist. BUT I do have a decent chord repertoire, I’m decent at finger picking, and I have a nice acoustic electric that almost never sees the light of day. If you need a basic strummer, finger picker, or creative chord voicer, than please give me a reason to play my guitar!
